Come to Me | Matthew 11:1-6
What do you do when Jesus doesn’t meet your expectations?
In Matthew 11:1–6, John the Baptist — the same man who boldly prepared the way for Jesus — finds himself sitting in prison asking a hard question: “Are you really the One?” This week at Village, we walk through a passage for people carrying disappointment, confusion, exhaustion, or questions they never thought they’d ask. And instead of pushing John away, Jesus meets him with reminder after reminder that the Kingdom of God is already breaking through. The blind see. The lame walk. The poor hear good news.
Maybe faith isn’t pretending everything makes sense. Maybe it’s learning to bring our honest questions to Jesus.
